About the speaker:
Rolayo Ogbonnaya is a seasoned church leader, teacher, and women’s ministry trainer with over three decades of service across West Africa. She earned her law degree from the University of Benin, Nigeria, in 1986 and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1987. After becoming a Christian in 1989, she joined the staff of the Lagos Church of Christ in 1992 and married Christian Ogbonnaya in 1993.
Rolayo has served as a Women’s Ministry Leader since 1994, leading extensively in Lagos and across the English-speaking West African family of churches. Together with her husband, she led the church in Accra, Ghana, and later the Lagos church, while overseeing a growing regional family spanning six nations. She currently serves as the Women’s Training Coordinator for the West Africa School of Missions (NEOSOM) and, since 2024, works with CHORD to oversee Schools of Missions across the ICOC. Rolayo holds a Master of Divinity and a Master of Arts in Biblical Studies.
